Our 6th graders had an amazing Outdoor Education adventure last Friday, May 2nd, at White Pines State Park! They dove into learning about geology, aquatics, forest biology, and the fascinating local history of the White Pines ranch near Oregon, Illinois.
But the real highlight? Horseback riding! It was a beautiful day to be outdoors, and the weather (mostly!) played along perfectly. A huge thank you to all the families and staff who helped make this fantastic trip a reality, and to the EPS Foundation for their generous grant that helped fund the experience.
