International Night!

"Community is much more than belonging to something; it's about doing something together that makes belonging matter."

Thank you to the MANY students, families, and teachers who came out for International Night!  This event is a beautiful display of the people, care, and shared values that make our school community exceptional.  The evening was filled with laughter, joy, cheer, and lots and lots of delicious dishes from across the globe.  Thank you for your efforts to make our East Prairie community strong, inclusive, and impactful!

Extra, extra read all about it

Thank you to our ELA team and Niles North for partnering together to provide our interested 8th graders with the opportunity to head over to the high school and visit their newspaper production and journalism courses for a hands on experience and shadow day!

Let's Celebrate Quarter 2!!!

A core belief of East Prairie is that we are at our very best when we are together.  This morning’s pep rally and intergrade level pair-up activities lived that belief in a magical way!

MLK Evening of Service

Thank you to the students, families, and teachers who came out last night for our first ever MLK Evening of Service event.  We used the abundance of toiletries generously donated by families and community members to build kits for local shelters.  Service to others empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and brings us all closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.  Thank you to the East Prairie community for choosing kindness, compassion, and service to others.

A Partnership Performance

Thank you to the Niles North orchestra, band, and choir programs for coming out to East Prairie to share their talents and beautiful music with our middle school students.

In addition to a phenomenal performance, this also afforded our middle school students the opportunity to learn more about fine arts programming, clubs, ensembles, and groups at the high school - offering a small glimpse into a not so distant future.

It was also of course lovely to see and welcome back many EPS alumni!
