Congratulations again to the East Prairie Class of 2020!  Last night’s ceremony was a touching tribute to our graduates and all those who helped guide them to this moment.

We're All In This Together

Today is the final day of school for our 8th graders!  While this hasn't been the end to the year (and to their EPS journey) that they or any of us expected, this group of young people has handled this situation with grace, dignity, and remarkable resilience.  Still, we wanted to put together a little something extra to help send them off in style.  While we will officially culminate their East Prairie experience with our graduation ceremony next Thursday, we wanted to share an important message -

We hope you have as much fun watching it, as we did making it!

Family Game Night!

Thank you to the many families that joined us for a fun filled evening of trivia!  It is evident that you know our East Prairie staff quite well!
It was fabulous to see so many of our families in one place, and something we will immensely look forward to again!  Congratulations to our winners!!!

Living Room Recital!

Congratulations and bravo to Mr. Berlinghof and our amazing band students on a sensational "living room recital!"  It was most moving to hear your pieces and original compositions; what progress has been made throughout the year!

Congratulations on a beautiful
(and very unique) program!

BAND-ing together!

Here is a clip of our Symphonic Band students playing On East Prairie.  We hope this helps to further inspire you to submit a clip of your family singing our school song to Mr. Schmeisser (hschmeisser@eps73.net).

What is even more remarkable is that this recording was made during our time away, and is a compilation of individual student performances assembled by Mr. Berlinghof to create the Remote On East Prairie Band!

8th grade meeting w/ Dr. Edwards

Thank you to Niles North Principal Dr. Edwards for making the time to meet and talk through the transition to high school with our almost graduates!  Thank you to our 8th graders for waking up for our 1:30PM meeting, prepared with such thoughtful questions and insights.  It is an outstanding group of soon to be Vikings!

Though we may not be in the building, construction presses forward.  The front drive and plaza are progressing beautifully, and are on track to be completed this summer!
Thank you to Mr. Stephen for these updated photos and for his leadership overseeing this endeavor!  Here is a digital rendering of what we can all look forward to enjoying together!

Parading Panthers!

Cars will depart from Hamlin Park at 11:00AM.  The parade will run approximately 30 minutes, ending at about 11:30AM at Hamlin Park.  If we don’t go down your specific block the parade can be seen from Hamlin Park, Lyon Park, and Emily Oaks (corner of Brummel and Knox).
Having never done a parade through the neighborhood before, we commissioned a local artist to provide a rendering of what may be to come.  Here are two possible scenarios for what later this event may look like.
It is possible, and perhaps likely, that our parade looks nothing like either of these options.  Either way, it is sure to be a fabulous event and fantastic time!  Our teacher team is excited to see and celebrate you and our kids!
