EPS Reentry Video

Here is a video highlighting our safety procedures and protocols as we transition to in-person learning for our youngest panthers.

Again, we want to make sure our entire school community is aware and understands the processes and procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of our kids, staff, families, and broader community.  Both in and outside of school our individual actions have a collective impact on our closely connected EPS community.  Thank you for taking the steps that lead to a vibrant, thriving, and healthy East Prairie School!

A Video Message for Families

Here is Dr. Goldberg's community message as we work to safely bring our students back for in-person schooling, beginning with our youngest. Consistent with our intentions throughout the summer and beginning of the year, we know our students learn best in-person alongside (safely, and 6 feet away) our outstanding staff.  As we have shared throughout this process we will begin by bringing our youngest students back in a sensible and measured manner.  The health and safety of students, staff, families, and our community continues to, and will always, be our highest priority.  Our ongoing goal is to provide families with a choice for the instructional model that best fits the needs of their child and family.

Our youngest panthers are thriving!

Wanting to ensure as impactful and typical an early learning experience as possible, our preschool and kindergarten teams have worked hard to create small group in-person educational opportunities, while also supporting at home learning.

Being mindful of screen time and the importance of peer interactions the team has structured activities that prioritize social-emotional development, essential learning for literacy and math, as well as, exposure to fine arts.

Thank you to our teachers and families for working together to offer the very best opportunities to our kiddos.  Our youngest panthers are rocking their opening weeks!
