Pep Rally & Pie!!!

What a fabulous first week of the school year!  The energy throughout the building was electric as we welcomed our first through eighth grade students back, while also bringing our preschool and kindergarten students in for screenings and play dates! Friday's pep rally was a fantastic opportunity to come all together and celebrate with a bit of fun!

We look forward to building on this week’s success over the coming days, weeks, and months.  As a school community our mission, fundamental purpose, is to “value the uniqueness of all and ensure the highest levels of learning.”  When we discuss this with students we describe it in a developmentally appropriate way as ALL of us working together to ensure that EVERY child feels they are uniquely special, cared for, and valued, while also being supported in an ongoing journey to learn, grow, and improve.  We look forward to continuing to partner with you on living this work each day.

Welcome Back!!!

 The energy and optimism was palpable as we welcomed our staff back for a fantastic first day!  Building on the momentum of the Olympics, we had a spirited and fun day of connecting and learning together!

Teamwork, relationships, and a strong sense of community are at the heart of what we do!

Goofy Olympics!

 While the Olympics may have officially wrapped up in Paris, the torch made its way to Skokie.  Thank you to our many students and families for a spirited, fun, and high energy Goofy Olympics family event.  Events included tricycling, hula hoop ring toss, jump rope marathon, water balloon egg toss, scooter relays, and frisbee discus.  Gold medals and everlasting glory were achieved by all! 

 

Getting Ready!

Here is the welcome back letter that was shared with all of our students. We couldn't be more excited for the year to come! 

The beginning of a new school year is a most special and magical time!  Each year this moment holds the power, potential, and possibility of bringing us together around the opportunity to do something truly extraordinary in service of kids and our community.  Like all school years, the year to come will be filled with challenges, as well as, happiness, lots of learning, and many special memories to be made along the way.  We look forward to partnering with and learning alongside you on this journey.
