International Night - An EPS Tradition!

The evening was a vibrant display of dance, learning, and the unique cultural identities that define us.  Your participation helps keep the East Prairie community strong, inclusive, and inspiring.

MTSS @ EPS

 Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a framework we use to make sure every student gets exactly what they need to succeed.  Whether it’s academic help, behavioral guidance, or social-emotional support, we provide layers of assistance tailored to each child.  By meeting students where they are, we live out our mission to "value the uniqueness of all and ensure the highest levels of learning.

Professional Learning @EPS

 At East Prairie, our mission is to “value the uniqueness of all and ensure the highest levels of learning.”  As a model Professional Learning Community, we believe that when adults learn more, students learn more.  We invite you to watch this brief video overview of professional learning in our district.  You’ll see how our school day is intentionally structured to prioritize job-embedded learning—ensuring that every policy, practice, and procedure we have is dedicated to helping every student excel at their grade level and beyond.

EPS Mentoring Update

Shout out to all of our middle school mentors and our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade mentees!  We had an outstanding second session focused on "life at school." 

 

Our learning intention was "I am learning to analyze the school environment as a mentor to identify a younger mentee's potential stressors and positive supports."

It is so exciting to see this program continue to evolve and expand involving 100 students in our broader Skokie community!  Way to lead and inspire Panthers!

Taboo Teambuilding

 

As you well know, team building is a vital part of who we are and what we do at East Prairie.  We welcomed everyone back with a high-energy game of Taboo (EPS edition).  Thank you to our team for working hard AND having fun!  Relationships are at the heart of all we do!
